Our Constant In A World Full Of Change

I always find myself searching for some sort of routine in my life. It gets to the point where I stress out so much about finding balance and consistency that I forgot to stop and enjoy myself. I really do forget to “stop and smell the roses.” I’m slowly learning as a new mom and wife that it’s okay to be off schedule sometimes. I am VERY slowly learning that it’s all right to have a last minute change of plans. When everything seems out of control, out of order and off schedule, it is important to realize that we all have a constant in our life. God is always in control, on time and there for us. He never changes and he never disappoints. I came across this verse while doing my devotions last night and it was just what I needed. I hope this helps some of you out there. Enjoy  the weekend! 🙂

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

  1. Amen, Amen, and Amen!!! Sometimes we are so busy trying find ways to not be so busy! It’s definitely a mom/wife thing!
Stayed tuned for my response to this in about 5 months after my youngest leaves the roost! Scaaaared!

  2. (Arrived here while searching Curry stats)

I’m a big fan of your husband’s basketball skills. First, I appreciate what he’d done at Davidson and now, he’s on a rampage (54 points at MSG!!) in the NBA. In addition, I’m blessed with a beautiful wife and daughter who interestingly, have a little bit of a resemblance to your daughter.

The only thing I can’t find myself agreeing (and thus accepting) is the blind trust in a divine. Oddly enough (and I don’t claim to know your lives and struggles as all couples do anyways), I respect what both of you project as a couple and the role model Mr. Stephen Curry is on the basketball court. To me this suffice my unyielding desire to be a little bit better (e.g. husband, father, student) and to make a difference. Someone will cry heresy, that I put my trust in men. The league is desperately in need of gentlemen and I think there is clearly one in Golden State Warriors. And I want this team to win (from a Floridian)an NBA title! Perhaps, even this year!!

Best and keep the flame of love burning!

P.S. You two are a beautiful couple and beautiful family!
